Yesterday, the General Secretary, along with the President, Executive Board, and members of the Bhutan Hardware Association, held a meeting with the Director and Chief Program Officer, Transport Regulatory Division of the Bhutan Construction and Transportation Authority (BCTA) at their Head Office in Thimphu. The Chief outlined the rules and regulations for vehicle loading capacities, protruding loads, and regarding billboards, banners, and stickers on vehicle bodies.
The President and members of the association shared the challenges and concerns with regard to transporting goods.
The session concluded with an open discussion, where members engaged in a Q&A, offering feedback and suggestions to address the transportation issues.
